GameDayApps - About Us

The GameDayApp team is comprised of a diverse group of Sports enthusiasts from the Southeastern United States:

Three former basketball players at the University of Kentucky, a former baseball player from Wofford College, a tech guru and Carolina Fan from Wilmington, North Carolina, an Iphone Developer who is a closet UVA fanatic, and a High School Basketball Coach raised in Lexington, KY.

Each of these men brought a different aspect to the table as the first GameDayApp was launched in the heart of the Bluegrass. Being that most of the development team had been raised as Kentucky fans, the natural jumping off point was Lexington. However, as the app gains popularity, expect more to follow quickly, for both football and basketball.

The idea sprung from the thought that narrow and deep best served the serious fan, considering several apps already provide stats and scores. We, as Kentucky fans, wanted to know more. We wanted to answer the questions most fans really ask as the watch the game. Who better to develop that app than a group of good friends who are former players and ardent fans?

We will be placing bios on our site soon, and as news develops and ideas expand, we will also post all relevant articles.
